I strongly believe that representing any client is an entrustment, not an entitlement. My clients trust me to do my very best to protect their interests, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I realize that the most important things in a person's life; their children; their home; their business; are usually at the center of family law disputes. This can create tremendous stress and be emotionally draining for anyone. I try to alleviate that stress by doing everything possible to achieve a prompt and fair settlement of a matrimonial case. I am the first to encourage an amicable settlement if it is fair to my client, and I am extremely easy to work with to achieve that goal. However, if my client is likely to be harmed, I will be as legally aggressive as possible to protect his or her rights.
